Report Lost or Stolen Cards

If your Monroe Bank & Trust credit, debit or ATM card is lost or believed stolen:

Step 1 — Call Monroe Bank & Trust to report the card as lost or stolen at 800-321-0032

(Mon -Th 8am – 5pm, Fri 8am – 6pm, Sat 8:30am – 12:30pm).

After normal business hours and on Sundays, contact the appropriate 24-hour hotline to report your lost or stolen card:

  • Personal Visa Credit Card: 800-883-0131
  • Commercial Rewards Credit Card: 855-436-4214
  • Debit Card: 800-321-0032 or outside of business hours: 800-472-3272
  • ATM Card: 800-321-0032 or outside of business hours: 800-472-3272

Step 2 — Monroe Bank & Trust will cancel your lost or stolen card immediately and send a replacement.

Step 3 — Notify all of the merchants with whom you’ve set up automatic bill payments.

Step 4 — Once Monroe Bank & Trust issues you a new card, call the merchants to reestablish your automatic bill payments with your new card. Try out Online Bill Pay to see if this convenient service can help you to avoid using your credit or debit card for automatic payments.

Step 5 — Visit the Federal Trade Commission website to review your rights and responsibilities regarding lost or stolen credit, debit or ATM cards.
