A letter from our President and CEO

A year ago, we embarked on a journey. We began work to better define how we talk about our offerings and more clearly tell our story. We knew we needed to reflect the culture we’ve built here to the rest of the world.

To do this, we partnered with a branding agency to guide us through this process. They interviewed team members at every level and department, and customers across our footprint to gather all perspectives of what truly makes us Monroe Bank & Trust. We learned that we are more than a bank – we are a collection of stories.

We also confirmed what we already knew in our hearts: this is not a typical bank. We heard time and again the very personal impact we have been lucky enough to make on the communities, businesses, and every life we serve.

I am thrilled to unveil our new brand identity, which we feel fully represents what sets us apart. The brand is who we are: authentic, true, positive, and representative of our spirit. Most of all, it celebrates our customers and the stories we empower them to create.

You may have already begun to see some of these updates and you should expect to see our new branding on your account statements, emails from us, our mobile app and online banking. Additionally, you will notice that we’re updating our home on the internet to www.monroe.bank, which is a new, highly safeguarded web address that will provide security and confidence in the years to come. The current address will continue to work, but email and site visits will redirect to the new. Keeping your information safe has always been a top priority for us, and this is just one of the many ways that we’ll be here for you as your story unfolds.

“We believe in the story of you.” is more than a tagline. It is a promise to every person who walks through our doors.
