Scott McKelvey

Scott McKelvey heads the Wealth Management Group as Executive Vice President. Scott joined Monroe Bank & Trust in June 2002 as Community President for MBT Downriver. He began his banking career in 1982, and has gained extensive experience in trust and investment management, commercial lending, branch administration, marketing and human resources. Scott received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. He is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University, as well as the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.  As a civic leader, Scott serves on the Finance & Strategic Planning Committees of the Oakwood Healthcare System and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Oakwood Southshore Medical Center.  He also serves on the Trust Executive Committee of the Michigan Bankers Association.

     

Ihab Hamka

Ihab joined Monroe Bank & Trust in March 2004 and currently serves as Vice President and Managing Director Administration. He began his banking career at Michigan National Bank .  Prior to joining  MBT Ihab served as Vice President & Trust Officer for nine years at Citizens Bank, managing an extensive portfolio of corporate and individual retirement plans.  Ihab is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School, and has obtained the designation of Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP). He is also a graduate of Hillsdale College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance.

     

 
Diane Kamprath

Diane joined the Trust Operations Department of Monroe Bank & Trust in 1988. She has been promoted through various Trust Department functions, including Operations Department Manager.  She currently serves as Vice President , Managing Director Operations & Compliance. Diane holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University, and has continued her professional studies at the Midwest Trust School. She has also completed the academic requirements at Bowling Green State University to become a Certified Financial Planner.  

     

Andrew M. Weisenburger

Andy joined Monroe Bank & Trust in 2007, having previously served as a Relationship Manager in a wealth management group in Toledo, Ohio. In that role, Andy managed over 250 client accounts totaling more than $200M in assets. He also served as a Fiduciary Officer, and gained valuable experience in estate and succession planning, taxes and investments. Andy currently serves as Vice President, Managing Director Administration. Prior to his career in wealth administration, Andy served as an attorney with a Toledo-based law firm. Andy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University in Cincinnati and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo.

     

Tracy A. Baughman

Tracy A. Baughman, CIMA & AIF, serves as Vice President and Portfolio Manager.  Prior to joining the MBT Wealth Management Group, Tracy enjoyed a successful 14-year career at Reliance Financial Services, the Wealth Management division of Ohio-based State Bank & Trust.  Tracy was promoted through various positions of increasing responsibility and authority, most recently serving Reliance as Senior Vice President, Investment Department supervisor and Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee.   He has also worked at Rurban Financial Corporation and Willow Run Credit Union.  Tracy has earned the Master of Business Administration and Master of Business & Organizational Leadership from The Defiance College, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Since 2008 he has served on the adjunct faculty of Northwest State Community College in Archbold, Ohio; teaching classes in economics and investments.   In 2006, Tracy earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation, certifying his expertise in fiduciary best practices and legal considerations.  In 2008, he was awarded the prestigious Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation, recognized as the premier credential for investment counseling professionalism, integrity and knowledge.

     

Michael D. Bryk

Michael D. Bryk is Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of General Studies degree with a concentration in Economics from The University of Michigan.  Prior to joining the MBT Wealth Management Group, Michael was an Energy Mutual Fund co-manager for six years at Munder Capital Management, where he also served five years as Senior Equity Analyst.  His responsibilities included the development of forecasting models and establishing buy / sell criteria.  Michael also held the positions of Equity Analyst and Fixed Income Analyst for four years with Bank One Investment Advisors/ NBD Bank.

     

Denise
Jondro

Denise joined Monroe Bank & Trust in August 1986, and worked in the branch system and auditing before moving to the Wealth Management Group. She currently serves as Second Vice President, Wealth Manager. Denise’s professional development studies have included the Bank Auditing School at Central Michigan University, a Certification in Trust Auditing from Cannon Financial Institute and a 3-year program at the Midwest Trust School. 

     

Kimberly Kowalski

Kimberly Kowalski, C.T.F.A., serves as 2nd Vice President, Wealth Manager.  Prior to joining the MBT Wealth Management Group, Kimberly spent ten years at Comerica Bank, most recently as AVP, Trust & Estate Advisor, where she was responsible for the management of client accounts totaling over $175 million in assets.  She has also held management positions in retail and human resources.  A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Liberty University, Kimberly earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University in 2006, and received her Certified Trust & Financial Advisor designation in 2009.   She serves on the Board of Directors for the Dearborn Figure Skating Club.  

 

     
Jaime McDonald

Jaime began her career at MBT in 2004, and has held various positions of responsibility in the Wealth Management Group. She currently serves as Assistant Vice President, Wealth Manager.  A 2002 graduate of Monroe County Community College, Jamie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in management from Siena Heights University in 2004 and completed a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Siena Heights in 2010. For the past 11 years, Jaime has served on the church board at Milan Baptist Church as Church Clerk. She is treasurer of the Friends of the Maybee Library, a member of ENLIST, and on the Board of Directors at the Monroe Center for Healthy Aging.

Tammy joined MBT Downriver in August of 2002 and currently serves as Vice President, Wealth Manager. Prior to joining MBT, Tammy had twenty years of banking experience. Tammy earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University and has completed the trust administration program at the Southern Trust School, Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.

Victoria joined Monroe Bank & Trust in 1995 and serves as Assistant Vice President, Model Portfolio Manager. Before joining MBT, Victoria worked for two brokerage houses in Toledo.  Educated at the University of Toledo, Victoria earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management and has earned the Certificate in Financial Planning at Bowling Green State University.

Jim brought 30 years of experience with him when he joined Monroe Bank & Trust in July of 2003. He currently serves as Second Vice President, Wealth Manager.   Specializing in retirement plans, Jim is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School, and has obtained the designation of Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP). He has earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Delta College, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University. He has also completed the academic requirements through Bowling Green State University to become a Certified Financial Planner.

     

David P.

As Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, David Rever, CFA  leads a team of wealth management professionals in the critical functions of economic and investment analysis, portfolio modeling and reviewing fixed income instrument integrity.   David comes to MBT with over 20 years of extensive experience as a financial analyst and portfolio manager.  His background also includes expertise as a financial planner for high net worth clients.  David worked for 13 years as a portfolio manager and analyst at Birmingham, MI based Munder Capital Management, rising to the position of Senior Fixed Income Analyst.  He also worked in significant analyst positions at Woodbridge Capital and Comerica Bank.  Before entering a career in finance, David helped small business owners and entrepreneurs to plan, finance, launch and grow their businesses as a counselor at the Wayne State University Small Business Development Center.   David graduated from Wayne State University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. 

     
     

Thomas Steele

Tom joined MBT after over 20 years in private banking with companies including National City and Comerica. He has served in a variety of leadership and advisory capacities, primarily working with high net worth individuals to manage their investment, financial and estate planning needs. Tom holds a BA from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids and a Juris Doctor from the Indiana University School of Law.  He currently serves as Business Development Manager.
