Monroe Bank & Trust is extremely proud of our history and the contributions we make to the communities we serve.  Monroe Bank & Trust has always considered itself to be a “Community” bank. Within the context of this understanding, we continue to be involved in our community through our participation in many diverse events and happenings.

The Monroe Bank & Trust “Charitable Contributions Policy” guides the allocation of resources, time and personnel to community organizations and applies to all employees of Monroe Bank & Trust and its subsidiaries. This assistance can be in the form of financial and non-financial assistance and loaned personnel from our ENLIST program.

It is the policy of Monroe Bank & Trust to contribute to activities, organizations and causes in our designated market area which consists of Monroe County and lower Wayne County, Michigan. These contributions must advance both a public purpose (education, health, safety, cultural, general welfare, or critical need) of the residents of these counties and a corporate purpose (furtherance of the interests, image and responsibilities) of Monroe Bank & Trust.
